Dr. Taneja belongs to a family of dentists, between his immediate and extended family there are fifteen dentists, yes that's right-15!!  He was always drawn to his father's office from a young age and watched him work very hard to establish himself as one of the leading orthodontists in New Delhi, India. It felt natural for him to follow in his father's footsteps. Hard work, dedication and  service are the values which were instilled in him early on.

He received his D.M.D from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University in 2005 and was on the Dean's honor list.

Upon completion he then moved to New Haven for a one year General Practice Residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale University. A hospital based residency allowed him to work closely with patients with various health conditions including immunocompromised patients. This allowed him to gain a better understanding in managing a patient's dental needs who may have underlying health challenges.

Dr. Taneja, decided to work for a year at the Providence Community health center before pursuing a masters degree in Prosthodontics and a Masters in Medical Sciences at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard University. 

 

He has since been in private practice for over 14 years and his clinical expertise includes Prosthodontics, Esthetics, Reconstructive and Implant Dentistry. He is also specialized in managing patients with TMJ disorders, sleep apnea and bruxism (heavy grinding). Dr. Taneja caters to each individual's need in a personalized and compassionate manner and believes in providing patients with options that best suit their needs.
